Jyndrah, sometimes shortened to "Jyn" or "Jayne" even though she's not really into nicknames, was a very serious wolf from the beginning. She was part of her mother's first litter. Three puppies survived, one sadly didn't make it. Her mother told Jyndrah and her two sisters about their father, who wasn't part of the pack. She described him as an handsome outsider she totally fell for, even if it was just a one time encounter. Their mother was very dedicated to raising them and one could tell she loved her puppies. Though as in every pack, there came the day when it was decided whether a puppy could stay, or was send to another home, or worse for some...

Jyndrah was very nervous when her mum nudged her towards her pack's lead wolf. The female looked the three puppies over and quickly dismissed them and their mother, for she had already decided they needed to find their home in another pack. As Jyndrah's mother was very devoted to her pack and her role in it, she accepted the pack leader's decision quickly and without saying a word. Two of the three sisters were taken away by a very strange pack. Jyndrah hid behind her mother and bit the mediator into their paw when they inquired about her. That was the reason why they didn't take her too.

Eventually a scout of Angharad stumbled upon Jyn. She was a feisty one and smart to boot. It took the scout a few treats and a lot of friendly words to get her to follow him. He shoved a few silver pinecones towards the pack leader and promised to offer a good home to Jyndrah. After a teary goodbye from her mother, Jyndrah followed the scout to Angharad territory.

Usually it is quite hard to read Jyn. She is calculating and stern and she tends to hold grudges for a very long time if she feels left out, insulted or overlooked. On the other hand she is very aware of her surroundings, a gallant soul, protective over pups and always lends a helping paw to those in need of it. On top of that she's a great hunter with deeply rooted natural instincts. When she was younger she asked a lot of questions about life in general and why she had such a strange feeling when her sisters where picked up by that strange pack. Nowadays she knows about the motives of some packs and what they do to puppies and that they abandon them. At least she knows that such things do not happen in Angharad. She is closest with her best friend Kisaniya and the rest of her hunting party.
