Pinestar ♥

You amble through the clearing, exploring and learning all you can about the pack. You notice a rock formation with a dirt path winding up the side. You weave up this trail, hopping up rocks as you go. When you hop up to the last rock, you notice a sleek, blonde-coated wolf having a colloquy with a dark brown wolf. He says he will introduce himself later, and trailed off. The golden wolf sits and smiles, beginning to introduce herself.
"Hello, traveler! My name is Pinescent. Oops, I mean PineSTAR. I'm still getting used to the whole "being a leader" thing, haha!"
You blankly stare at her and tilt an ear to the side, not understanding her meaning.
"Oh, right! Not every wolf goes by our system. Here in Cedarclan, we go by a name system."
All wolves in this pack have two names: a prefix and a suffix noun—for example, Whitewhisker.
Pups under the age of 6 moons (aka months) have the suffix "cub". When they become an apprentice and are between the ages of 6 and 12 moons, they have the suffix "paw." Once they become an adult, they gain a noun of StarClan's choosing. When a wolf is a leader, it gains the suffix "Star."
"So that's our system! Anyway, like I said, I'm Pinestar. The wolf I was talking to is named Spiritwave and is my mate and deputy. He was helping me set up patrols. Boy, this leadership stuff sure does take a toll! haha."
"So you're here to learn about me? I'm flattered! Let's see...
I was born in another pack, but was brought here when I was an apprentice. My mother thought it best for me to start a new life, and boy, what a good choice it was! When I was brought here, my fate was to become a scout. I apparently am above average, whatever that means. When Alligatorstar was the leader, he saw something in me that I didn't even see in myself. He saw the makings of a great and powerful leader. He consulted Starclan, and they told him this was my fate, not scouting! And so, alligatorstar passed on last night, and here I am now!"
