Training:
Tussling:
During the lesson: Buck began tussling with a littermate, and clamped down hard with his teeth on the littermate's tail. The littermate let out a cry, and Fleet trotted over and explained that while teeth can be used, they must be used gently and without any force.
Ambushing:
During the lesson: Newt tied the toy to a string made of straw. He pulled the toy between rocks and bushes and Buck had to pounce and steal it without being detected by Newt's keen senses.
Pathfinding:
During the lesson: Buck learned about many different areas located far away from the den from Malachite today. Buck told her he would like to see everything, from snow-covered mountains to the endless sandy dunes.
Chasing and Escaping:
During the lesson: Fleet had a feather attached to the end of her tail, and raced through a clearing with Buck close behind. He couldn't quite catch her yet, but he got close enough to feel the feather tickle his nose before Fleet pulled farther ahead.
