Nightshade

Raised in the burned woodlands nothing came easy, but on the rocky mountains they were forced to become agile and skilled. Coming from a line of impeccable hunters Nightshade was quick to learn, in constant competition each sibling strived to outdo the other, wether it be hunting, speed, agility, or even who was bigger or who was the favourite. They each competed constantly for their place and to be recognised by the elders as worthy of their time.

So when they travelled to the lower lands to follow the migrating herds. Nightshade snuck away to find a bigger prize, at an adolescent age they strove to find a truly impressive kill to prove themself worthy. Then Blackwater struck, Nightshade being the only one on higher ground they watched as each and everyone ran, struggled, cried out, then got swept away by the roaring black flood. Not one survived but himself.
