Native to the Eastern Cape Province in South Africa, the Ledebouria socialis, or more well known as the leopard lily, silver squill, or the wood hyacinth, is a toxic perennial plant. They can grow up to 6–10 in. tall (15-25 cm), living in a low-humidity, low-temperature climate with blooms that occur during the spring and summer seasons, growing clusters of 20-25 flowers above its leaves. Said flowers are green, with pink stems to attract pollinators. The leaves on the plant are a silvery color with green spots, with faint purple undersides that has given the name to this wolf. The inclusion of white/silver overruling the color can be included with the secondary mutation shown above, and when in Wardrobe, the blues make the choice of using this plant for her name was chosen.
