SpoilerVelkynne is a quiet presence in the forest, moving through the shadows with effortless grace. Known for her sharp instincts and calm demeanor, she has a reputation as a guide for those who find themselves lost in the woods. Though she prefers solitude, she will appear at the edge of campfires or trails, her gaze steady and calm, silently offering a sense of direction.

Despite her dark, mysterious appearance, Velkynne's nature is not unkind. She has been seen helping pups find their way back to their packs, or standing watch near the dens of those in need of rest. Some say she has an uncanny way of knowing when she is needed most, arriving just in time to lead travelers through unfamiliar paths.

Velkynne remains a mystery to many, but those who have crossed her path speak of her with quiet respect. She is not a leader, nor a follower, but a presence—steady, patient, and always there when the way forward is unclear.

🐾 Velkynne is fond of adventures, and won't be staying in your pack for more than SEVEN rollovers. When it's time for her to continue her journey, you must pass her on - Do not return her home unless you can no longer care for her!

Lore (optional): SpoilerShe had somehow made her way into the Coniferous Forest, it wasn't her intention but after running from the persistent yellow lights and a misadventure into a bear's den she was injured and just trying not to get caught by something unfriendly. She had nested in the dusk light in some pine needles licking her sores when a white wolf with Some interesting blue markings approached her cautiously. After a short conversation she found the wolf to own this territory and go by the name of Accalia. Being a kind soul she offered Velkynne a place to stay while she healed and had her herbalist fix up the infection that was trying to take hold. Velkynne happily spent her time watching over the pack pups while she healed. Although she learned during this time how much she loved pups and couldn't wait to have more of her own, she bid her new friends goodbye once she was healed to continue her exploration.

Lore (optional): SpoilerThe mountains on their own were not so bad. Some parts were even temperate, lovely, or at the very least, not frigid on a late summer's day. But the corner of the scraggly rocks where the pack of Rineswept was tucked away seemed like the only place that could manage to be stuck in a perpetual state of winter even as the seasons changed. There was no snow, thankfully-- but not much more could be said. Autumnal leaves crunched beneath weathered paws as Velkynne came to a halt in front of a large, sprawling maple, scented strongly enough to be a clear beacon of marking miles away. A large, gray wolf was sprawled beneath it, his gaze flicking up to meet hers-- one iris black, the other white --with a sort of certainty that would be unnerving to anyone else when encountering someone new. There was something white and glowing tucked away behind him, propped against the tree, but he shifted to conceal it. It was not her time. Yet.

"You smell strongly of life-- more than one. You are with pups, are you not?" Without waiting for confirmation, his eyes fluttered shut, and a fluffy, pierced ear twitched. "There's a hunting patrol you should run into if you keep going North from here. Tell them Isak sent you-- they will take you in." So it would be, and so it was.
