Cloud

Cloud is a young traveler that enjoys the forests and plains of Wolvden. She was never raised in one pack, but decided to choose the BloodNight Pack to be her home pack, When she was done with her travels, she would return to the pack to share her stories. Born with almost pure white fur, she is as soft as a cloud, which is how she got her name.

11/25/22 - Upon reaching a particularly flat grassy meadow, there was a pack out in the open with lots of pups running about. The pack herbalist was the first to greet Cloud, and about six puppies were bounding around the herbalist and running between her legs. Cloud chuckled at this and was urged forward to meet the rest of the pack. Though some members were more interested in digging a rather large hole, she was still given warm welcomes by the alpha and the youngsters.

4/20/23- Cloud reached the Moonlight River Pack mid winter, snow still falling fast, the nearby river frozen over. She was glad to find a place to stay, one that seemed to have enough food, and even if they didn't, would have been happy to feed her. The pups listened in rapt attention as she told them stories about her adventures. She was glad to be welcome, glad to be safe, and glad to be there as long as she was. One day she decided to leave again, fondly remembering the pups as she walked away. As a memento for her stray, one of the pups made her a necklace made from an owl talon, and gave it to her with all the solemnity of a funeral. She took it happily, and kept it close.

4/27/23- Cloud stepped into the foggy pine territory of the Juniperwake, her pale blue pelt melting into the low floating clouds. As she pad along she began to noticed flickering shadows, the sound of pawsteps running by her, and the murmurings of another pack. Did they not see her? Suddenly another wolf slipped though the bushes next to her, his ears pricking at the sight of her. "Why… hello there! Your pelt is so pale I thought you were a thick cloud." He barked in greeting, laughing and looking a bit awkward. "My names Kappa, sorry about earlier. See, our leader is about to give birth. Every wolf is worried and rushing around as shes…well…older." The wolf said, sitting on his haunches as he finished and then added, "I'm sure you understand." Cloud nodded her head, introducing herself and said, "Ah yes, anytime in a she wolves life it can be dangerous to give birth. My name is Cloud by the way, I'm very good with pups if your pack needs a paw." Wagging his tail, Kappa barked "follow me then, Matsukita will be pleased." Soon Cloud and Kappa pad into the Juniperwake camp, greeting the leader Matsukita in her root den before making a nest with the packs pupsitters. Cloud shared many stories with the pups and gained even more pupsitting knowledge from the older sitters before deciding to move on once again.

5/30/23 - Cloud found her way to a large deciduous forest, and in the middle of autumn, the leaves were beautiful, turning all hues of red, yellow, and orange. She was met by Alpha Merida who brought her back to the Starshade Pack's den. There, Cloud only stayed a few days as she knew her journey would be coming to an end soon. She inspired pups with stories of her many adventures as she sat and enjoyed the scenery of the den, which laid in a small clearing within the trees. Cloud enjoyed the chance to recall the tales of her own journey as she rested peacefully within the bright colors of the trees.
