Journal Entry: The new alpha Corvin gave me this journal. Said that I should keep my adventures documented. I hope that I make my pack proud and that I learn lots of new skills. I want to be useful to my pack back home. Dread helped me get settled in and then I got to follow Denata and collect some herbs, maybe a healer would be something I would be good at?

Journal Entry: The herbs I had learned about previously led me to follow my nose rather than my wits, wandering into an overgrown marsh nestled in a mountain valley. The treacherous land gave way and I got stuck. I howled for help, and before soon, a strange wolf came out of the undergrowth, declaring she knew that I was coming. Her name was Ragna, and her eyes were bad, but she seemed to see me just fine. A seer of sorts? She brought me back to her pack, where the alpha, Vanja, let me stay and rest up. Once I had regained my strength, Ragna told me to follow her. She said I held a great future, but needed to learn the ways of the land. She taught me how to navigate the swamp safely and what herbs held what use. At the end of the long treck was a forest full of ravens, and she told me to be judged. I am yet to truly understand the meaning of this, but I understand that the raven that approached me with wary eyes will now follow me for the rest of my days.
