There was no doubt that the marriage between her and Allura was a loveless one. Back in their homeland, their home kingdom, it was an arranged marriage, a unifying of the royal family and her noble house so that they would provide aid for a war effort.

As wife to the Queen, she didn't have much of a choice when Allura had to leave. She still doesn't understand why, Allura never shared anything with her. But she new that staying would only bring shame to her in the eyes of her family, and she would have no place at the royal court once Allura's brother took over.

She is still unfamiliar with these strange lands, but has decided to become the head of the scouts to allow herself to become more acquainted with the world around them.
