Isaak

             As a pup, Isaak was never the chosen favorite in his birth pack, even though he was the only one out of his siblings to most resemble his father, in both personality and looks. His father was a dark and cruel leader who took no shame in eliminating the weak from his rather large pack. The thought of blood relatives had no meaning to his father, this was why it was so easy for him to abandon his own son. Isaak had only been about five months of age when he was left alone just outside of his father's territory. Winter had just ended and yet a cold chill had still found its way into the young male's spine. He lowered his head and began to trek through the brush, away from what he had known as home for so long, towards an unknowable future. 

             Weeks passed and soon enough Isaak found himself in a completely different terrain than what he had been used to. A low rumble from his stomach sounded as the young male began to focus on the scents that were detectable around him. The nearby scent of rabbit caught his attention and it didn't take long for him to follow the scent to its source. His markings camouflaged him well with the flickering bits of sunlight through the leaves of the trees above him. Closer he crept, his hunger motivating him to remain as silent as possible as he closed the distance between him and his meal. Before he could make his next move, a flash of ginger and white leaped out into view, scaring off the rabbit. Luckily enough, the rabbit practically ran into Isaak's jaws, much to the disappointment of the other young wolf who had attempted the hunt. Hazel-colored eyes were laced with hostility as he watched the other male closely, a snarl obvious on his muzzle as he kept a tight hold on his meal. 

             "Sorry...I didn't know you were after it too" The wolf spoke with a slight wag of his tail and his ears back against his head, signaling to Isaak that he didn't mean any harm. "I'm Sascha—" The voice came once again as a pair of warm brown eyes met aggressive hazel. "I didn't ask." Isaak growled out from around the limp rabbit as he let the snarl fade, a hint of it lingering behind as he watched the male for a moment before turning and starting to head back the way he came. This had been their first encounter with each other, but to Isaak's surprise, it wouldn't be their last. As time went on, both wolves grew closer to each other and formed a sort of bond that would help lead to the creation of Isaak's own pack, Die Unbekannte.
