Born as a runt in the tundra, Vesper's life from the beginning was one of strife. She was often neglected by her birthparents and once she was old enough to fend for herself, she took her chances and became a lone wolf. Much of Vesper's life was spent in solitude, and it left her with the impression that she did not need the help of others to survive. While wandering as a youngling, she crossed paths with an arrogant wolf by the name of Jericho. Initially, the two did not get along, with his fiery personality incapable of melting her cold shell. Months of spending time together eventually led to a strong friendship, and they both decided to set off in search of somewhere to create a new pack or join an existing one.

After traveling far and wide in search of a new home with Jericho at her side, the two came across the territory claimed by the Deadwood Pack. They joined and within a few days, Vesper witnessed the cruelty the former leader ruled with. On one fateful night, challenged the tyrannical she-wolf to a battle. Though Vesper emerged victorious, she now a long battle ahead of her: to win the trust of her packmates and redeem the once-thriving pack.

Initially, Vesper seemed like an odd choice to lead a rather large pack. She is rather withdrawn, and seldom speaks. When she does, it is to direct or reprimand her packmates. She comes across as cold, but she truly cares about the well-being of others, and secludes herself to keep her burdens off their shoulders. Few know of her softer side, one such individual being her friend, Jericho. She is often preoccupied with her duties as leader, and which has harmed her relationships with her mate, Orion, and the many pups she has raised. As she ages, Vesper fears for the future of her pack, as a wolf worthy of being her heir has yet to appear.
