She grew up knowing her family was unusual in the Snow Hearts. Bunni had a much older brother, who was the son of a lead wolf, but the important thing was he was her elder.
Bunni toddled around after him, trying to win attention from Uncle Junior. Bunni knew his role as a pupsitter was crucial, and thought there was no one better suited. Her brother, Snow Whisper, was clearly itching to leave younger than most wolves. Bunni believed his desire for independence was admirable. Their father was the beloved Friend, and he supported his family with as much care as he showed every wolf.
Bunni wanted to be like everyone else, and did not hesitate to compliment them. Therefore, it was easy to forgive her relaxed approach to pack duties. In fact, she very rarely ever moved with swiftness in mind. It was not her way.
