Afterglow

It's an odd phenomenon among leaders that every once in a while they are granted the ability to walk in their dreams. Able to explore a realm so similar yet so different to their own naturally breeds different reactions. In this pack it, like so many other things in their lives, is taken in stride. Some speculate that it is an ability passed down through the line, perhaps even attached to the smokey quartz necklace that eventually adorns every leader. As usual, there are no answers, not even from the wolves that apparently live in this realm.
It was an average day, or as average as the realm could be, when she saw him. A bright wolf who introduced himself as Mango Marmalade. She at first thought he was a native to the realm given his appearance, imagine her surprise when he said he was a pack leader from the other side! Quickly brushing off her surprise she offered to show him around, an offer he eagerly accepted. Afterglow explained all she could, the questions from Mango seemed to never end. They roamed for a while, both eager to explore with their newfound companion. Eventually both tired and lay down in amiable silence. Or it was silent until Afterglow started asking questions of her own.
