Axios, Eros & Juno head out to search for the recruitments for their pack. Juno was left behind in the Taiga, Axios has decided to search the Prairie while Eros continues heading further south.

A pack of 9 rogue wolves ambush Axios, surrounding and attacking him through the trees. Jumping on his back and biting, desperately trying to take the giant down. One by one, Axios throws them off tossing them to the ground. The rogue wolves then scurry away with their tails between their legs. Before having a moment to relax, a heavily merle moss wolf lunges out from behind a tree. Axios raises his right paw, having the wolf biting down on his bracelet with one of its paws pushing against the side of his face. Axios pushes forward to knock the wolf over, it unexpectedly instead lowers its paw and moves back, keeping its balance while keeping its bite on the bracelet. This wolf is obviously stronger and more experienced then the others, it is probably their ring leader.
It vigorously shakes its head side to side before letting go of Axios's paw and goes for his throat.

Axios shifts his body to the side, evading the bite which is quickly followed up with biting the wolf on the back of the neck. It growls angerly snapping at his feet before having his head pulled back and swung to the side by its scruff. Axios positions himself to the side of the struggling wolf and places his paw on its back, pinning it to the ground between the shoulder blades. The wolf looks up into Axios's eyes angerly.
"Can we settle this peacefully? If you calm down, I'll let you go." Axios offers keeping his guard up.
The wolf slows his breathing, appearing to calm down. Axios removes his paw and slowly backs away. The wolf shakes his body, frustrated about being so weak against the larger male.
Going for a sneak attack, it acts like it is wiping dust off the top of his head before lunging at Axios.
Axios now tired of this, headbutts the wolf. The wild wolf falls back letting out a whimper, stumbling around now disoriented.
"Have your fill?" Axios asks standing over the wolf. "You are free to run away like your pack," Axios adds with an intimidating voice.
"I won't run!" he responds, trying hard to keep his balance as his surroundings are spinning. "They are just weak mutts if they are so quick to run." He snaps back.
"You have a good sense of fighting, as well as being stronger than the average wolf. I would gladly have you lead a hunting party in my pack if you are willing to work on that attitude.

Even in his condition, the wolf stands his ground, staring into Axios's eye standing less then a foot away from him.
"What do you think? Can we come to an understanding?" Axios asks, not backing down or breaking eye contact.
The wild wolf gives a large angry grin, "Pathetic."
