Sable was the first leader of the Greyhide Sanctum, having built it from the ground up with the help of fellow wanderers Rowan and Miyahei. Respected by all under her care for her determination and willingness to see things through, Sable formed a pack that thrived; the members united, working together as one.
The sanctum is her pride and joy, and it is not secret to any that come across her that she would give her life for her pack in a heartbeat. Perhaps there are others that follow her who are stronger than her, faster than her, smarter than her, but that is why she does not lead alone.
She is the sanctum's symbol of hope, and none of them would be able to forget that. She runs the place with the ideas of her people and not just her own, so that this home continues to be just that for everyone -- a home.
As she watched her children, Zahn and Glisse, grow from pup to adult, she knew what she had to do. She could see the way the others looked to Glisse when they needed help, saw the way her daughter shone in the role of the one in charge. She wasted no time crowning Glisse as the Greyhide Sanctum's first beta, and Heir to Leadership.
She raised Glisse to operate with the same love and care for the sanctum that she herself has, and she can see it in Glisse's heart every day that she will make a fine leader.
