Birth Certificate
Birth Date: Mar 24 (Fall)

Skyflash was a sociable little boy who liked to talk to anyone who would listen. He could jabber on for an hour or more about all sorts of things. Visitors to the Pack often heard his voice first, talking in the background as everyone went about their business. Most of his elders learned to ignore him, but he wasn't always a good listener and often talked over others without even noticing. His pupsitter Dustflight had to remind him daily that silence is golden.
At the Academy, Sky excelled at all his lessons, as long as they didn't involve being quiet. If they did, he didn't do so well. Maybe it was his misfortune that agility and speed lessons mostly involve being quiet. Or maybe it wasn't so bad. His motormouth eventually began to improve and he got quieter as he went along. Instead of letting him choose his final lesson, Dustflight assigned him the Ambushing lesson, to reinforce the quietness. And it worked. He went two hours without saying a single word!
During his apprenticeship, Sky followed the hunters and helped out with hunting. And he discovered that the quieter he was, the better he did at his job. He finally understood why his elders always encouraged him to be quieter. It wasn't just because his talking could be annoying, it was also because it got in the way of hunting. Once he realized that, Sky became quite a good hunter, and a good teammate as well. With his motormouth under control, everyone was more comfortable around him and he earned praise for his marked improvement.
Now as an adult, Sky still likes to talk. But he saves most of his words for after work and stays quiet while on the trail. After work, he often takes a drink of fermented barley but rarely finishes it because he's too busy telling stories and sharing his thoughts about the day's events. Now that he understands more about the world, his talking has gotten more interesting to listen to and much less irritating.
His hunting team reached #3 in the Pack Wolf ranking for Completed Hunts
