Everdeen Lady of the mist

Everdeen is a timeless fae, age barely seems to have an affect on her. throughout her years of travelling, hardship and wisdom she has  crafted her arts and bent nature to her whims and carved out a secluded place for her pack to flourish in the valleys of mist, surrounded by rivers of cold pitiless waters that no wolf dare cross unless summoned.

she is the grand cultivator of Soul Finders, wolves in touch with their inner aura who can muster up their talents and use their magical yields to provide for their clan sects and learn Everdeen's craft.

Everdeen was the very first of her kind, the first wolf to harness her soul touch- and with it she founded the very path for those who followed, the pack of silent whispers.

all of them are her disciples, some of whom use their powers for the good of the pack and some who travel far and wide spreading her ways or luring in would be yielders, and using their talents to  help those in need, but no good can come without the bad, for a few have used their talents for the wrong purposes or have pushed their spirit yields too far and have become voic - one who is controlled by the soul itself, a mindless abominus. 

this power is not born to all, but instead to the chosen. Everdeen is able to sense those with prowess and potential, and can summon them from far and wide using her mastery of dreamscapes and soul harbingers (birds or other Animagus whose bodies become host to the soul of the wolf to travel across the land and survey or deliver a message, at the cost of ones energy and soul finding cultivation).

only those she deems worthy may join the ranks of her disciples to learn soul finding, otherwise they are cast out of her pack to fend for themselves or perish to the elements even if they manage to find her hidden pack, so that all secrets either stay with the pack, or die with the few...

Everdeen and her legendary kin are little more than folklore to the common wolf, whispers upon the hushed tongues of mothers to their pups or stories or lost kinfolk and treacherous beasts with flaming souls lurking in the dark told around den circles.

none who have set out to prove her existence and that of the soul finders have ever succeeded, or returned to their families...
