Braeden was the one who met Ruben. He was a young male looking to find somewhere to fit in. He was young and fit, making for an ideal hunter for the pack. Braeden brought him back to meet the others in the grassland dens. She figured that Athenadora would accept the young male given her desire to have a large pack of her own.

The ashen wolf was young and brazen. He could hold his head up even after a failed hunt. He took everything in his stride, his confidence never wavering.He and Darzi worked well as a team but they still struggled as a duo when they tried taking down larger prey. They quickly realised that he needed help to bring back larger prey for the pack. After speaking to Athenadora about it, she assured the pair that she'd pass the message on to Karma and Braeden to keep an eye out for new pack mates.
