Integrated into the Wastelanders pack in Fall of Year 4. Under the jurisdiction of Lead Wolf Sandor, Kils is one of three transients from a disbanded pack to join the Wastelanders. Known as the "wolf-bear", he is a very large male, with an even larger attitude to match.
May 28th, 2022 [DIARY 1]
"Do I condemn Sandor's actions?! These fools look at me as if they don't know who I am! As if my pelt did not reek of fallen wolves when I first arrived, drenched in their blood with fur clinging to my claws!...My father, when I was a pup, forced me to fight my own brother over a scrap of deer meat. I could feel my heart sink in my chest when he told me that, if I lost, I would make up for the meal I squandered...When I won, I looked at him with pride, but he seemed to see a sort of evil in me. I hadn't just won the scrap...I killed my brother in the process. His expression was...Priceless! Har har! With every fight I wound up in thereafter, I won without fail. I became such a brute, my pack sent me off to live with the ursidae for a few seasons...They don't call me Kils wolf-bear for nothing!"
June 8th, 2022 [DIARY 2]
"Sweet Moon, what I wouldn't give for a day to relax! We hunt every night, without fail...Sandor sure keeps us on our toes, eh? He really enjoys making sure that we're not up to any funny business. I think he's gettin' paranoid that we're going to overthrow him in some sort of revolt...No...He doesn't need to think so foolishly!...In our old pack, Gren and I had one each of our rear legs bound to each other with sinew. We were forced to work together 'til we could function as one single wolf, and eventually, we did. We stayed like that for a whole season...When they finally took us away from each other, it took us another season to stop talking in synchrony! Har har!...Ah, but that's just a story. Sweet Moon, I ramble. The point is, Gren, Fahren and I have near no issue with how Sandor runs this pack...It's yards better than our old one! If anything, these wolves need a little more kick to their rears!"

"I have never been this close to a female, aye...Great Sun, I have known many she-wolves, but not in the way that I now know Fahren!...I have never been one to be...Soft...I am unsure if there is even a heart in my chest. But, ah, the flutters I feel when Fahren and I lay together at night, curled together in our den...For once in my ungrateful life, I feel safe. Do not tell any wolf that I thought of such things! My father is rolling in his grave, the more I speak!"

"Don't tell anyone this, Great Sun...But I actually don't support Sandor's decision. Har har! Ain't that a surprise? I was all over his attack on Walla, today, like fleas on a coyote...But, as soon as he began to follow our hunting party at mid-day, I knew something was up...He was meeting with that she-wolf, Flare, again! Don't get me wrong, I like the gal enough...I just ain't sure if this is a good idea for the pack. I mean, allying with a pack led by sub-adults? I'd rather be in a transient band!"
