Felicity called upon him to do various tasks, usually involving puppies or patrolling the perimeter when it was not necessary for an elder wolf to do so. Eventually, he was one of the elder wolves. He was instrumental in the rediscovery of the desert and the taiga (the latter alongside Egg Bandit) after Ioa became leader.

Aduilc did not struggle with any task, bulking up rather impressively. He filled the position of stalker, then finisher, with various hunting squads. One could say he was skilled at solving problems. Indeed, there were many as pups were born - Silverpaw and Ahdi passed away as well as Hazelnut. A pack relies on its keen nosed members, after all.

Aduilc was not the only wolf to step up by far. Enigma constantly did so - Crimson followed their lead too. Aduilc even set his paws to healing for a time whilst Crimson focused on locating the caribou herds. Fluff even awkwardly struggled not to show Crimson the ropes without completely taking over for her. Stormbolt, whose family was of course accustomed to leadership and its demands, was quite ready to advise Ioa. Aduilc openly praised his packmates, elders or youths, for their dedication to the Snow Hearts.

If Aduilc was lonely, they paused to mention so to no one. They were quite proud to see the next generation grow and take on the tasks necessary to the continuation of the Collective. Aduilc did not appear to favor any role over another. They did what needed to be done; that was all.

Aduilc was able to train their offspring in every facet of training, which is abnormal, but totally awesome. Go Aduilc!!
