Biography
Ivy has been interested in herbalism since she was a young pup, when her litter mates were all out playing, she would be studying herbs and learning their names of by heart. However it was only when she and her sisters answered the great howling song of heartbreak sung out by the forest guardians when the founding pack leader sadly died, that she got to live her dream of becoming a fully fledged herbalist. Everyday she forages for the herbs she needs, then she stays up late in her cosy cave crafting the medicines she needs to ensure that the pack is kept in top condition. The pack value her and her skills very highly, she respected and beloved by all, they often bring her small trinkets to show their appreciation of her helpful and caring nature.
Ivy had her first pup when she joined the forest guardians, she doted on the little yellow fluffball, naming her Bee as her bright fur reminded of the lazy bumble bees that buzz around the wild flowers growing in the forest. She taught Bee to be wise and smart and was overjoyed when her pup grew up to be a powerful stalker, consistently sniffing out large prey trails, even in tricky conditions.
Ivy had two more pups when she was nearly four years old, the pair were fathered by Bramble. Rosehip favoured her father's colouring of chocolate fur and from the moment she started running around the den Ivy knew Rosehip was destined to be a swift chaser. Nettle was more thoughtful and favoured her mother's honey colouring, she would often be found playing with birds and bugs, so Ivy trained her to follow in her big sisters paw steps and she became a dilligent stalker.
Ivy had another litter of two puppies with Bramble late in her life, the pups were born in the hazy heat of late summer when the forest was alive with plants and animals. Willow was a striking dark merle pup, with a nose for stalking only rivaled by those of her older sisters. Catkin inherited strongly from her mother, not just her mottled honey coloured fur, but her talent and dedication to herbs and their healing properties.
