Ice clung to her eyelashes and whiskers as she trudged through the harsh snow. Her teeth chattered as she kept her heavy head low. She whimpered and whined and shook as the cold pierced her skin.
Banished… she snarled in her head, not having the energy to even think for too long. Her paws seemed to go numb and she wasn't even sure if she was moving. The snow whipped and lashed at her in some fury.
She didn't know how much time passed until the snow seemed to ease and the land became warmer. Soon, the snow was nothing but slush. She shakily looked behind her to see the snow still whirling. Was she in anew, warmer area already? She dragged her body until strands of green poked out from the frosty land.
Finally, she arrived to a unfamiliar place. It was green, lush and yellow flowers bloomed all around. The wolf gasped as she spotted a clear stream where silver fish leaped and bounced against the small current.
"Stream where silver fish leap…" she said, blinking. That would be her name. It was so… beautiful. "I am Stream Where Silver Fish Leap," she said, puffing out her chest. The cold left her body and she regained some of her energy.
"That's a nice name," a raspy voice said. She let out an alarmed bark. "Who are you?" she growled, hackles raised.
The steele wolf stepped out of the dark with a smile. He was rather handsome. "Don't have one? Think you got one for me?" Stream stared at him, mouth slightly open. "Sure i…i can do that," She said, sitting down.
Soon, the two of them gave birth to Dust, Peak, and Ash
