Maridyne

Maridyne was part of a small group of pups adopted from the Enclave alongside Ovalpyre, Listervale, and Pontabub, the latter two of which belonged to the alpha pair of the time, Beelzebub and Sagevale. Right away she struck up a friendly rivalry with Ovalpyre for Listervale's attention.

As they grew, Listervale began to return her affection and they became mates as soon as they turned one. He had been destined to lead the pack from a very young age, but a love for exploring held him back from truly committing. When he outright refused the alpha position, Maridyne offered to take his place and the old alpha pair agreed to let her lead.

Tragedy struck within the year for Listervale and Maridyne when he discovered that her latest litter was by Foxchild, the pack's breeding male. She wanted them included in the dynasty, but he refused, and in a fit of rage killed all but one. They split over their differences and she's since sought comfort in Foxchild.
