Sepia

Sepia wasn't born into the Heart's of Valor pack. When she was old enough to eat meat, she was given to another pack due to food shortages, where she lived for only a few months longer before she was traded again, this time into the Hearts of Valor when she was six months old. Janai, the leader at the time, took a quick liking to her.

The older she-wolf quickly started her training, having her go on hunting trips before having her train under Azure, who she quickly began to grow close to. She also grew close to Elly, the two having a lot in common, including how they came into the pack.

As Janai grew older, reaching her seventh season, the pack waited with bated breath as she announced who she would like to be her successor. Every wolf had thought she was going to choose Cassani to lead the pack next, so they all - Sepia included - were quite shocked when she announced that Sepia would be the next to lead the pack.

Though they all respected Janai immensely and accepted her choice. So while Janai was still leading, Miya was sent to help train the pups while Sepia worked with Azure to explore the territory.

Janai ended up passing at a time where she was helping the Chaorainn pack with some disappearances. Sepia was kept informed, though, and was able to finish what Janai started. Though when she came back for the final time, something was different.

The pups she had taken with her - her own pups, Milo and Yuri - were gone, and her fur seemed to have taken on a slightly green-ish tint in some areas. As she entered the camp, it was also noticed that her eyes now glowed with yellow light instead of their previous white. She was different when she came back; something obviously changed her during her time away.

But even still, she continues to lead her pack fairly. She plays with the pups and visits new mothers, and makes sure that everyone is fed and happy, just as she had before. Sometimes she is seen engaging in quiet, seemingly sorrowful conversations with Azure and some of the elder wolves, Shallow and Ryla mostly. But if any approach whatever subject is dropped quickly.
