He joined the pack at the end of Cloudsong's life, the last wanderer she permitted to join the pack under her leadership. His fur looked auburn at the time, but as night fell and the Dreamworld was accessible, his fur changed to reflect the moonlight. Although accepting being a breeder after Cosmo and taking Mike's place as the Gatherers' finisher, his attitude was usually depressed about most things and (if allowed) he hid himself away in a dark den when the sun was out.
