"The pups speak about you Tawel. They talk of the smartest stalker there's been, one that can hunt down any kind of prey to lead to the chasers waiting claws and the finisher's fangs. A black flash that scours our territory to bring the best food back." Tawel laughed, "Really Mother? I'm just doing my job." Nosau shook her head. "You wouldn't believe all I hear about you and the team. Not to mention jealous they are of your flame, especially in our ceremonies." The two melanistic wolves lay side by side in the nursery, the hunting for the day had been called off as Aerod was choosing to relax for the day. Hopefully her litter would be healthy.
It had been a few weeks since Nosau told her of the pups conversations and the talk had been put aside. Until, that is, the team had to take some of the newer adolescents for training. "I really hope I get to go with Tawel!! Imagine that, can you see me running behind her? Bet I'd be so much better than you!" One crowed to a few others who instantly leapt at the one who spoke with demands of "No, I'd be the best! I want to be with Tawel!" A few by the side clearly wanted to go with some others but it was so strange to hear them wanting to go with the stoic she-wolf. Syniad laughed, choosing an adolescent for the chasing group and Gwaed chose one as well with a small grin. Tawel sighed, the lunar flame along her body flickering slightly before settling into darkness, prepared for the hunt. "Foelrhon, you'll be with me for the first hunt." The seal brown adolescent looked up with a happily wagging tail before following the dark female away from the group that would wait until they were back to be chosen again.
"Follow me, carefully, and watch what I do. Then you can try and I'll see how you do." Tawel instructed
