Holtfinder always knew the way home, making her a good scout as well as a worthwhile addition to any hunting expedition. Her sense of direction was better than any other wolf the pack has known. She was even able to guide the hunting party safely through an unexpected snowstorm. She was honored to serve as a scout who would help increase the pack's territory and she dedicated herself to mapping out as much of the world as she could during her life.
Holtfinder adopted any stray pups that the pack came across, including Clover and Stormcloud. Her children learned from her the best traits that a wolf could have: patience, resilience, and compassion.
