Before he opened his eyes, his mother worried for him as he never cried. As he grew, that sort of silence persisted into pondering and watching, always thinking about the purpose of life, how the world works, and how the first wolves came to be. He didn't get along well with members of the pack who were more aggressive in tendency; they usually saw his behavior as laziness or foolish, 'missing the forest for the trees'. But Changeling understood, and was eager to discuss these deeper topics with him at least.
