He was adopted from the Enclave much like Deepwoods, but ended up staying with the pack when he reached maturity due to his forming a father-son bond with Lightfall. Though his upstart attitude has gotten him into trouble in his adolescence (and adulthood), he has proven himself to be quite the hunter in his own right under Thunderpaw's instruction, eventually taking his place when he grew too old to hunt anymore.
