He was adopted from the Enclave, originally to train and then be set off to create a pack of his own like most offspring adopted or born into Forest's Eyes. However, he endeared himself enough that he found a place in the pack watching out for pups even when he was a pup himself. He, Surge, Weedham, Aries, and Silence are distant cousins.

Originally the base of his fur was black, but as an adult, a night sky-like sheen, like Pondersit's coat, became visible.
