The Hunt Trials

As is common tradition in WildHide his sisters and himself upon becoming adults, were given the trial of the hunt where newly aged juveniles (a year old) are sent out on their very first hunt. Saharan and Flora worked together as scent-trackers stalking a path through the mountain terrain on the trail of prey. It was him and Blair, however, that brought down the Bighorn Sheep Ram. The yearlings have made their pack and parents very proud with such a successful first hunt. Him and his siblings continued to become fine hunters bringing down medium and small preys until the fateful day that Flora decided she wanted to take up being the pack's herbalist after their father had passed into the next life.
