While the pack was still in its fledging stages, the Dwyn family was thriving but still unable to sustain its first major puppy booms. Many pups born to Two Rivers branched off to establish their own families. The largest of his litter, Colt was the first of Raegan's own blood to stay to support the pack, and he has never forgiven his brother Python for leaving.
Dark and solitary, Colt isn't close to either of his parents. He is particularly estranged from his birth mother, Ridge, as Freya has always been his maternal figure and mentor.
Much of the pack are wary of him and his cruel temper. He is only truly close to Freya, his younger half-sister Eirlys, and his mate Isadora.
Colt has an ambition for power, and continues to rise within the pack's loose internal structure to proud his worth. Colt is the lead of his own hunting party, though his aggressive leadership style often hinders teamwork and loses prey. He often hunts on his own to fill pack bellies, preferring the solitude.
Despite his obvious personal strengths, Raegan does not feel his dark shadow of a son would be a suitable heir to oversee the pack. This gnaws at Colt every day.
Isadora and Colt became close while working together in the same hunting party. As their teamwork grew, so did their relationship. Today they are bonded as mates, and Isadora is hoping to have puppies. Colt is less certain.
