Tarix, the First Alpha

Tarix was born into a pack of well-respected wolves in a golden forest. Over the years, the forest seemed to have a physical effect on its inhabitants, turning their coats into gold. The extent to which this color change altered the wolves themselves is unknown, but, as an adolescent, Tarix was determined to find out. Tarix was a younger brother to Genhal, a much more level headed wolf that was destined to lead their pack. The two brothers rarely got along, but knew they needed each other, especially after losing both parents in a hunt gone wrong. In an effort to find out more about the strange soul of the golden forest, Tarix was nearly killed. His brother was furious with his impulsiveness, but Tarix told him that if he wasn't allowed to search for answers, he would leave. The brothers had a great falling out, which ultimately led to Tarix leaving the pack. He wanted to get as far away from the golden forest as possible, but never lost the shining coat. He eventually met Nara, his mate, and formed the pack. He became a loving father, but could never forget his homeland. He wonders if he will ever return to find out the truth and reunite with his brother.
