Having come to the Iron Coven as a pup, Nightlock has spent the majority of his life being raised by Valeria and Oleander. He grew up alongside Khione, the lead's daughter, and so quickly became best friends with the young female. Over the years his feelings developed and grew from the affection of a friend into a deeper, pure love. It was no surprise to the Coven when Nightshade asked Khione to become is life-long partner, and having given him an excited yes, the two were pair-bonded on the full moon after they had reached a year and a half in age.
Nightshade is known as the calm rock in Khione's wild ocean. He is level-headed, and hard to anger, always choosing to maintain a clear mind during conflicts. The Coven wolves typically go to Night when they are in need of advise, despite his young age. Shadowing Valeria since puphood, this male seems to have inherited her warm, open heart, and fierce love of their tribe.
