While a caring and motherly figure to most, there is something not quite right about Everest. When the snow gets so bad the others huddle in tunnels, the leader embraces it as if it rejuvenates her. Where she spends the days and nights she's not in the den is a secret only her close circle knows. No one knows where she came from- some say she trekked all the way from the Glacier, others suggest she lived behind the mountain or beyond. Some say she's been here all along.. Whatever the case may be, it's clear now she's part of the mountain in some way and always will be. And now, she will return to it.
