A recent plague decimated the Affinity Pack. The former Leader, having fallen ill before her time, made the rush decision to name Tharasha as her successor, being a young, healthy wolf of the Air Affinity, and ordered her to take the remaining healthy pack members and flee before the plague could claim them as well. Tharasha took her sister, Sharithi, a herbalist in training, a young hunter named Zavex, and the former Leader's sister, an experienced scout named Teelinnorri, and fled their home, their Pack now a mere four wolves who were tasked with rebuilding the legacy of the Affinity Pack.
Tharasha was perhaps not the best wolf suited to leadership, however she was only real choice, with the only other healthy Air wolf being her sister, who had training as a Herbalist, a role that was far more important for her to pursue. So while Tharasha isn't the best of leaders, she has grown into the role a bit in her time so far and does well enough. She is incredibly nosy and tends to micromanage every member to their wits end, but she at least means well.
