Utan-Syn

5th Gen, CLEAN (Orion)

Utan-Syn was found and brought into the Tribe by Avery, who found her while he was out foraging for herbs. She had been thrown away by her humans because she is blind. She is 98% Australian Shepherd, 2% wolf. Her name means “without sight” in Swedish.

Because of her blindness and lack of knowledge in the wild, Utan-Syn could not become a hunter or scout. Because of this, she normally hung out with Avery in the medicine den and he taught her what he knew, allowing her to help him when the sick arrived. They became close, and mourned him deeply when he passed.

When Caspian was appointed the new herbalist, she grew close to him, and taught him some of the things she had learned from spending time with Avery.

Although she could not fulfill a true role in the Tribe, she was still a well cared-for member, and was admired for her strength and courage.

She fell in love with Deimos’ daughter, Vitani, and was distraught when she decided to leave the pack.
