Moonwatcher

Moonwatcher is the leader of this overall medium-sized pack of Ookashis. She's very big and powerful, she's also incredibly smart. She's been known to set up the hunting and tracking parties while also breaking up any fight that happens in her pack.

Moonwatcher came from what was called The Dark Place (or the Black Market,) she's seen a lot of terrible things and seen what could happen to other Wolf Ookashis like her. She was able to break out when someone attacked the place, in the chaos she was able to flee. Since then, she's been avoiding any town and any human; she's been living in the woods since she was a kid. Later on, she found other wolf Ookashis, some older than her and some younger than her. Knowing that they are all in the same position, hiding away from humans in their wolf forms, Moonwatcher decided to create this pack to protect all of them and to create a safe haven for any Wolf Ookashis wandering nearby. So far, this place has been kept a secret, no one knows for sure where they reside and Moonwatcher prefers to keep it this way.

Moonwatcher has had a few litters of kids but none of them stayed within the pack, either by leaving or dying. Snow Thistle's death still has shaken Moonwatcher, she keeps watch over her pups, afraid of losing them too. She wishes dearly that her past litters stayed with her, the terrors of The Dark Place has traumatized her. She wants to protect her kids, she fears that they too might fall into the hands of those disgusting humans. She doesn't stop them if they want to leave, but that doesn't stop her from worrying about them everyday. Moonwatcher still hasn't decided what heir of hers should take leadership, she doesn't particularly focus on this. She usually just loves her kids and wishes the best out of them. One day she'll step down, but for now, she keeps a close eye on the wolves in her pack.

Moonwatcher has become very old, when she wakes up every day she can hardly get out of bed. She knows the end is near and she's taught everything she could to her daughter Frostwhisper so she knows she can pass without any worry. She created this pack, all of her old friends have died before her, she knows and understands that it will continue on without her. She is content.
