Rattle is a wolfdog, the sole pup of a farmer’s mutt and a
shewolf. He’s much smaller than his packmates, but has more pep and moxie than
any of them. He’s something of a social butterfly, and flirted his way into
being the pack’s stud. He can be a bit oblivious and considers himself the toughest
wolf around, which his many mates find adorable.
Due to his small size Rattle wasn’t suited for hunting, he tired
too fast for scouting, and he wasn’t patient enough for herbalism. Thus, he was
assigned to pupsitting duty. He doesn’t really mind, as he sired of most of his
charges. If he’s responsible for bringing them into the world, he may as well
protect them until they can fend for themselves. It’s a blessing that Rattle
holds this mentality; he gets around, and as a result the pack is almost always
crawling with youngsters.
