Chapter 1: The Witch
The autumn air was crisp as the light of a full moon in the open night sky shimmered through the conifer trees. Beneath the sharp silhouettes of the conifers, a young adult wolfess named Lillian was carving a symbol of some kind into the earth with her claws. She then dropped a type of crystal into the centre of her engraving. As the chilling wind blew, white wisps of magic began to form and rise from the dark soil as she bowed her head and started to manifest her wishes and intentions. "Where is it I belong?", she asked softly in her head. She detected a low whisper in the canals of her keen ears, and listened intently for its guidance. When closing her eyes for a brief moment, a picture of vivid green flashed through her mind, a scenery with many trees of mighty canopies where colourful birds perch, feed and rest and rivers flowing with water that one could swear tastes like the essence of heaven itself, bend and curve throughout the emerald environment. Lillian's eyes flew back open with an understanding of where her destination awaits.

Chapter 2: Coigreach
After traveling for nearly two days, Lillian was just about to reach the end of the coniferous forest. She trotted out into a flowing grassland and was making her way through, checking her surroundings every now and then for any potential danger. As she moved forward for some time, the distressed squeal of a nearby horse echoed from behind a hill. She stopped in her tracks for a moment to look in the direction of the call, ready to react in case the horse came charging at her. Sure enough, it did. It was a frightened mare that came galloping over the hill towards her and Lillian quickly leapt out of the mare's way as it bucked in panic with a young wolf sprinting after it, panting heavily with bright eyes. He came to an abrupt stop, however. "Damn it! I was so close..." he cursed in frustration at his failed hunting attempt. His dark fur was slick and clean, and muscles rippled beneath his pelt. He was fit and smelled like prey, a hunter, perhaps? Lillian sighed with relief that she was able to avoid injury or worse. She took a minute to gather herself before trotting onwards to continue her journey when suddenly, that young male was in front of her. "Where might you be headed?" he asked her eagerly with a cocky smirk and a pair of flirty eyes. Lillian sighed and halted with annoyance already; this wasn't the first time she had to deal with a situation like this. "Listen buddy, I'm not interested in males. Try your luck with another wolfess." she said firmly and walked on past him, hoping he wouldn't keep bothering her. To her dismay, he instead started strutting beside her, puffing out his chest and taking any opportunity to show off his muscular frame in an obnoxious attempt to impress her. "'Wolfess'? I've never heard of that before, what does it mean? I'm Lorcan by the way and I'm from the Chaorainn Pack. I couldn't help but notice what a fine young she-wolf you were while I was chasing that stallion. It kind of blurred my vision y'know, seeing your beautiful white coat and all. What's your name and where are you going? You're all alone, don't you have a pack? I could accompany you if you'd like, I'm sure nothing will mess with you while I'm here, I'd be honoured to-" Lillian came to a halt again and turned her head sharply to glare at him, her eyes flashing with anger, "For the goddesses, do you ever shut up?! Precisely what part of "I'm not interested in males" did you not understand?! I'm homosexual, and you'd better know what that means! Oh how sorry I'll feel for the next wolfess who has the misfortune of encountering you! You're on your own too, where's your pack at? Did they abandon you for how arrogant you are or something? Couldn't say I'd blame them, after seeing how eager you are to harass a clearly uninterested wolfess who just wants to go on her way!" she snarled angrily. Lorcan was taken aback, and stood there, speechless. Satisfied with her response, Lillian marched onwards with her tail waving defiantly in the air.

Chapter 3: Winter
Winter was here, and the air was cold and bitter. Lillian had been traveling for days on end now, eager to get to where the whispers of conjured magic were telling her to go. She knew it would be a long journey from where she began, but she underestimated the challenge it would bring. She trudged tiredly but with determination through the thick snow as clumps of it clung to her fur. Pushing forwards, she knew she couldn't give up now, but what she did need was a rest. She spotted a build-up of snow nearby, and hoped she might be able to dig into it a bit to provide herself with a temporary den of some sort. Surely it would keep her warmer and safer than staying exposed and vulnerable out in the open. After reaching the snow mound and digging herself a small shelter, she curled up and let herself succumb to the calling of sleep. When she woke up and blinked her sleepy eyes open, the reflected sunlight on the snow was blinding. It took a moment for her eyes to adjust to the abundance of the light, and when she felt ready to, she got up from her makeshift nest in the mound of snow to have a long stretch. She emerged from her snow mound, which had now slightly melted from the subtle heat of the morning sun. However, as she did so, she noticed something odd; there were thick roots submerged in the snow. She was surprised, but recognized the signs... There was another witch here! She took a closer look, and noticed the roots were curled in a certain way, almost protectively over where Lillian had fallen asleep. Whoever did this, was she trying to help her..? She looked around her briefly for any more signs of the mysterious character who did this, but there were none to be seen.

Chapter 4: Florence (WIP)
26th November, 2023
Spring had arrived, and the land all around looked glorious as flora of all colours started to emerge from the defrosted soil. This season was a cheerful time for Lillian, and her gait had more bounce in it now that the depressing weight of winter had faded away.
