Lilth

It was dark at night. I wiggled and played batting a mouse around. I had no idea what lurked near me. It was within seconds I felt jaws clamp around my leg. I screamed in pain wailing as the fangs dug deeper. It dragged me from what I thought was safe area. Then mother seeped out her den worriedly. Her eyes widened as she darted towards me her own fangs giving a fatal blow to the predator. I could mothers roar of snarls and the animals cries. The burning hissed around leg fire trailing up and down my body. Mother quickly raced me to the herbalist but it was no use. The pain intensified and I screamed out. I could feel it burning and burning but fading away. My vision got darker and mother got frantic. I could hear her pleads but soon they drowned out and no longer hearable. My vision slowly faded away. I was greeted by my fallen sister yipping and tugging at me. My eyes were slits as I realized I was dead. I looked around wolves who had died in front of me. They greeted me with sorrows and sads of my young death. Sister was overjoyed to have me again. I whimpered but was somewhat better with knowing of sister to stay with me in death.
