Cunning and aloof, not unlike the red creature for which she was named, Vixen is a master of survival. She knows the best places to hide, to hunt, and to stalk, and she relies on her instincts rather than her intuition. She passes practicality, cunningness and alertness to the pups in her care, and they in turn learn to be crafty and smart. Anxious in new situations, Vixen is one of the last to meet a new wolf, puppy, or a new territory, but once she is comfortable, she is one of the best wolves to look to in a potentially dangerous situation. More likely to flee, rather than fight, she does not find herself at the center of quarrels or arguments, but she would know how to use her environment to her advantage if the pack ever needed her in a battle.
