You see Sage carefully organising her belongings, paying little attention to anything else. She doesn't notice you until you are close enough to press your nose into her shoulder to get her attention.
Sage wandered out into the forest when heard a crackeling sound behind her. She look up and saw a human pointing something at her. She didn't have time to react when a loud popping noise was heard snd the world went black.
Sparrow and Grove hadn't seen their mother the next morning and were quite worried. They told Lava in which she and her beta, Mackerel ordered wolves to search the territory. The two lead wolves searched by themselves.
They wandered through the forest, calling out Sage's name and trying to follow her scent. The caught the scent of her and another creature. They followed the scent into a large clearing.
What they see horrifed the two mates; a large splattered of blood covered the forest with Sage nowhere to be found. Lava Recognised the scent and knew there was no way they are getting the elderly wolf back.
When they came back to the camp, Lava howled, gathering the pack and told what they discovered. She declared that Sage is deceased.
Grove bowed his head in sorrow, while Sparrow buried her face into her Maggie's fur who licked her ears for comfort.
RIP Sage, now reunited with her beloved Primrose again.
