Deep Shadow

The second alpha of Hyakkaou Pack, Deep Shadow is the daughter of the alpha before her, Midari. She is upholding her mother's tradition of making sure the next alpha after her is her child. Although, she is a little less strict with keeping pups she breeds that don't meet alpha standards. She doesn't force them to live a harsh life like Midari did where she would not even recognize them as kin, but she still does not grant them any high ranks in the pack.

Deep Shadow is ambitious and often reckless. Her position as the pack's alpha sometimes gets to her head and many believe she is too immature to be leader. However, they hope she will become wiser with time and her young age is an easy explanation for her attitude. She is very capable in many skills, though, which is why she was entrusted with this role after the passing of her mother.

Once bearing a gray pelt, Deep Shadow, also known as the Great Red Wolf, was blessed by her ancestors to keep her pack strong, giving her the deep red fur now seen on her today. Red has become a symbol of strength, valiance, and honor for Hyakkaou Pack and every new heir from here on out should share Deep Shadow's coat color.
