Onza 🦁

A refugee from a rainforest pack whose territory was destroyed by the wildfires of the Second Troubled Times. The yearling female made an unusual alliance with a large cat who told stories of her ancestral home in the desert. After traveling together for safety she took on the name Onza in memory of her friend.

Her awkward reward for showing promise as a team leader was a marriage arranged by the Alphas to Ambassador Berxerxes' grandson Snierk. The near-yearling pup had just been through a great embarrassment after being tricked by a female his own age. Since it wasn't his fault, Alpha Sulakhan gave him the older female to help boost his morale and maturity. Onza was humiliated at first, but told herself that when they were old a year apart wouldn't be noticed.
