Marigold🏵

Marigold's Mother was a loner exiled from her pack while pregnant leaving her mother to have any support, this causing her and her siblings constantly starving and on the brink of death. Once one of marigold's weakest siblings died her mother came to the last decision which was to take each of her siblings and herself to be raised by packs across the territory hoping for a better future for her pups.

Marigold was brought to Talon The pack that seemed to accept any wolf in need with open paws when her mother came to them with marigold the pack was more than happy to take her in. She was then taken care of by Tadpole, Once Marigold grew Tadpole noticed she was unusually observant and mature for her age.

Tornpelt, the pack's herbalist, saw this as an opportunity to mentor Marigold. She agreed to train Marigold to be an herbalist, and Marigold jumped at the chance. She enjoyed healing other wolves and quickly became skilled with herbs.

Despite Marigold being mature for her age, Tornpelt was overprotective of her. Marigold found this frustrating but found Freedom hanging with the two wolves she grew up alongside with, HollowStripe and ShadowWing Though Tornpelt disproved of Her hanging out with the two because of their nature for causing trouble Though this didn't stop Marigold from going behind Tornpelt's back to hang out with the two.

As the trio often hung out together, HollowStripe and ShadowWing would often get Marigold to break rules, causing her to get into trouble with Tornpelt and eventually Rosemary, but as they got older, HollowStripe and ShadowWing eventually became mates. Marigold found herself stuck in the role of third wheel and lost interest and any freedom she found with the two fading.

As punishment for breaking rules Marigold Would be forced to take care of puppies. Though Marigold figured out that she would be watched by puppies rather than Tornpelt, this led to Tornpelt rarely interfering Leading Marigold to slip away from the pack whenever she wanted to, leading the too stressed Tadpole running after puppies to notice her disappearance.

However, one winter the pack fell deathly ill, Marigold spotting the sickness early immediately jumped in to help. Tornpelt was too stressed and worn out to do it herself, the sickness could be cured by one herb which Tornpelt lacked, Marigold took it upon herself to trek through the deep snow in order to find the herb which she succeeded in. Returning back to the talon with the herb Tornpelt taught Marigold the mix to the medicine that later cured the pack.

Marigold found a new appreciation for Tornpelt and the two she-wolves managed to find a balance between Tornpelt's protectiveness and Marigold's desire for freedom. Though Marigold is still young and following her dream to become a successful herbalist.
