Epikaro and his sister Eilna were the pack's favorites for who would take over after their mother, while their littermate Dazana was happy just being an herbalist. Epikaro never expected to be the final choice; his sister was stronger and, at least in his eyes, more capable. Eilna however made the choice easy for everyone by supporting Epikaro and making it clear she only wished to follow his lead, even at a young age. Years later, he would prove himself to be one of the most successful leaders the pack had known, leading the pack wisely enough so that they never face difficult hardships.
