This story begins with Pink Wings the wolf! From the early days of his life, his dusky pink hues set him apart, a mesmerizing sight that inspired awe among his fellow wolves. It was most charming! Even his eyes had a variety of pink depth to them. Yet, he was not one to be content with mere admiration; a burning ambition lurked within him, yearning to explore the vast expanse of the untamed world. This yearning to rove and forge his destiny grew stronger with each passing moon, kindling a sense of destiny that tugged at the very core of his being.
Do not mistake him for being a selfish sire. He wanted to get out into the world and possibly see if anyone would be in need of his services. That was the truth of the matter, and he'd rather listen to the calling of his heart than stay in the same area for the rest of his life. Of course, his name didn't mean he could fly across bodies of land and water with ease to arrive at wherever he was going, but his ambition would suit him well-enough. Once it was kindling, it couldn't be put out. And so, amidst heartfelt farewells and warm embraces, Pink Wings began his journey into the unknown.
Venturing into the unknown, Pink Wings traversed through dense forests, across meandering rivers, and over rugged mountains. His keen senses guided him, and his instincts honed from years of living within a pack kept him alert and vigilant. Along the way, he encountered a myriad of creatures, some friendly and others wary, but each encounter added to his repertoire of experiences. Along the entire journey, he was certainly the pinkest pink in all manner of pink; no one could top the blending of his pelage, not even the birds or the bugs, the animals who often carried his pigments more than mammals themselves did.
As he crossed valleys and climbed hills, the image of a potential mate lingered in his mind. He dreamed of a wolf who could match his strength and spirit, a partner with whom he could build a future filled with unity and love. But he also yearned for someone who would appreciate the depths of his soul, who would see beyond the dusky pink hues and embrace him for the essence of his being. Then, on a fateful evening beneath a moonlit sky, fate guided him to a serene glade. There, amidst a sea of wildflowers, he caught a glimpse of a wolf who exuded a celestial aura. She was Sweet Heaven, a she-wolf of breathtaking beauty, with a graceful stride that matched her name!
Pink Wings and Sweet Heaven had quite the ring to it. Instantly entranced, the pink sire rushed to her side. The rest was history on that lovely night. He told her his name, she told him her name, and both shared their experiences upon this plane. But the female canine gave him an important detail! She was candid and sincere about her report of her pack; they'd been lacking a breeding male for some time now. They needed someone to step up to the role! But no one had been found as of now. So the position was kept soundly vacant. Needless to say, Pink Wings was arguably the luckiest wolf in the world that night when he heard those words.
"Pink Wings, who could we get for the job?"
"Sweet Heaven, you don't have to look any further!"
With those words, Pink Wings felt a surge of emotions welling up inside him. It was a moment of affirmation, of validation for the wolf he had become and the wolf he aspired to be. Next thing he knew, an excited and willing Sweet Heaven led him back to her own fellow wolves from the Noel Winter Eve Pack. The pack's leader extended a welcoming paw, and one by one, the other wolves followed suit, embracing Pink Wings as one of their own. But what neither of them expected was for Sweet Heaven to propose that he'd be their next stud. She gathered her thoughts and her words to make his case right away!
"Pink Wings is the perfect wolf for the duty of studding. He has a good, not too common, not too rare coat color! Nothing that seems out of place thanks to the whole look of his coat. He has good markings to sport and a rare set of eyes as well. Why should we wait any further? He should be the one to be our stud!"
With plenty of mulling and decision making, the verdict was made! Most of the pack issued a resounding yes. The role was passed onto an ever so humble and overjoyed Pink Wings. Sweet Heaven could only look on in delight as she fulfilled his wish.
And later on, the two would confess their love, and Pink Wings fathered many, many little pups.
