Kumo: Stratosphere Canine
Kumo is a rare pelted pup who was born to Arctis and Radiant. She never knew her father because he left the day he discovered their birth- when her and her littermates were two weeks old. Kumo doesn't really care about her father, however, and spends most of her time with her mother and her brother who also have the same pelt as her. She even hunts in the same party as her brother, Sora, and the two are great chasers in the Galactic Ones just like the lineage they came from.
Growing up, Kumo would often laze around and spend most of her time sleeping. She was a rather quiet, low energy pup despite her incredible speeds. She didn't really like chasing that much, finding it tiring. Her mother and brother were able to convince her to take on the chasing role, which she reluctantly agreed to. In her adolescent days, frolicking in flower fields and rolling down hills were her favorite activities. It allowed her to avoid wrestling with Sora most of the time.
Changing Times
Although Kumo talked to a lot of different wolves in the pack, especially males trying to hit on her, the only male she liked was her brother, but even their sibling friendship wouldn't last forever. On the day the two siblings turned three years old, Alpha Cherry Root decided it was finally time to let one of the siblings go. Originally only one of them was going to remain in the pack, but Cherry Root decided to keep them both as valuable "assets". Now, only Kumo was viewed as that valuable asset.
Devastated by the news, Kumo and Radiant begged to have Sora stay. The rest of their hunting team and and her close acquaintances vouched for him, saying he was an excellent hunter that the pack needed, but Cherry Root didn't listen to any of them. Feeling upset and a bit betrayed by her own alpha, Kumo proposed that Sora and their hunting team decided to go on one last hunt together. They vowed to catch the largest seal they could find in the glacier, and they weren't willing to give up the hunt until they knew they couldn't take down the target.
The chase was intense. The hunting party of five was chasing after a large herd of caribou after failing to find any seals. Sora, Kumo, and Serenity were chasing down a mother and her calf. They brought down the prey, and once the dust settled, they realized it was only a calf they brought down. The party was too exhausted to continue chasing the adults, so they took what they had back home. The excitement in the moment was the best part of the hunt, so they weren't disappointed by their catch.
