General Pup Prices

Hi all - have other folks developed any kind of rough formula for figuring out decent prices when selling pups in the trading center? Obviously any such formula would fluctuate a lot depending on where the economy of Wolvden was at at any given time, but even so, are there any general guidelines people follow? I've been seeing a ton of posts from lots of new not-early access folks about pricing and I've been curious myself.

My general rule has been a starting point of about 20 SC, with +50 for tier 2 bases, and +10 per marking. I've yet to have high stat pups, so I don't know how you'd factor that into the selling price either. I've no idea if that's wildly low or crazy expensive, and checking out the other wolf trades in the TC haven't revealed any good patterns that I can see, but if people have good guides to look at then please post them here!

The +50SC for tier 2 bases is definitely too low.

Have you been able to sell T1 pups quickly based on your pricing mechanism? 

So far only I've only had Tier 2's for sale and they've gone fast (aaand now I know why, lol). I'm putting up a batch of Tier 1's tomorrow based on the above formula, we'll see how that goes?

What's a better modifier for Tier 2's do you think? +150? I'm loathe to charge people too much but also don't want to rudely undercut others.

Different T2's should be priced differently. I generally go with custom < Special NBW < breed-only, with all else being equal.

The lowest T2 pups on the TC are all custom base with a price of 2GC, so if you want a quick sell you can also go with that.

Breed-only base prices vary drastically in price depending on popularity. I personally know that Lavender and Arkose would go for between 20-50GC fairly easily. It's best you look around the trading forum to determine the price for each individual breed-only base.

I'm not too familiar with Special NBW on puppies, but I sell actual Special NBW with T2 bases for ~6-10GC. Young puppies would probably be a little less than that since the wait to adulthood could be long. 

I buy/sell mostly in GC, so you can just convert that to SC at the spot rate when you list the puppies.

I honestly don't know how to price T1 and markings, so I do also appreciate any feedback from other players. Do also let me know how your T1's sell for tomorrow please!

Makes sense though that pups would be cheaper than adults since the payoff is longer. And given that right now we're so flush with GC with all the early access folks it also make sense not to set up a conversion right away but to check what the going rate is before making the trade.
